Konnichiwa Tokyo Gendai

Hello friends. I am setting wings to Tokyo/Yokohama in a week and I am very honored to be able to take part in Japan’s top art fair Tokyo Gendai. This curated expansive exhibition and meeting of artists unfolds September 10 – 14th. It will be the first time I am ever stepping inside Japan and I’m so exited to be invited to such a fair. Thank you to Fabrik for always submitting me for consideration.

Before the show I’m looking forward to visiting Kyoto and Osaka and maybe Mt. Fuji. But, you bet I’m walking down that street in Tokyo where all the cameras and lenses live. Maybe I need an extra suitcase. I’m very happy the show will be held in Yokohama. This is where my Aunt Satomi is from. She lives in Chicago now, but I have always wanted to see where she grew up. I’ll get to spend many days in her town. An unexpected bonus.
